Hi, I’m Ashley Kennedy, owner and stylist behind Stellar Styles Hair. I booth rent at Shear Creations in Johnson City, NY. My goal is simple: to offer a comfortable, consistent salon experience where you feel listened to and well taken care of. I’ve been doing hair for over 15 years, specializing in dimensional color, soft blending, and haircuts that grow out well and fit real life. I take a thoughtful, straightforward approach and work with you to create results that feel natural and easy to maintain. I’m a certified L’ANZA Healing Artist and use L’ANZA Healing Color and Care products to support healthy hair while delivering beautiful, nourishing results. Healthy hair always comes first. Many clients choose to rebook before leaving to keep their schedule steady and avoid last-minute scrambling. Most haircuts are booked every 6–8 weeks, and color services every 4–8 weeks, depending on your needs. Ten percent of all retail purchases support Every Cat’s Dream, a local nonprofit that rescues and rehomes cats and dogs. When you visit Stellar Styles Hair, you can expect skilled work, clear communication, and a relaxed, professional experience from start to finish.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life can be unpredictable and things do come up. Clients are welcome to cancel or reschedule their appointment up to 24 hours in advance, either online or by contacting me directly. If you are running 15 minutes late or more, please text, call, or email me as soon as possible. At that point, your appointment may need to be rescheduled so I can stay on time for other clients. Day-of appointments that are missed, cancelled without notice, or unable to be completed due to late arrival without text, call, or email will be charged 35% of the scheduled service. This fee must be settled before booking a future appointment. This policy helps protect my time and ensures I can continue providing consistent, thoughtful service to every client I work with. Thank you for understanding and for respecting the care that goes into each appointment.
